Christopher Opisso Joins BlueChip Transactional Risk Underwriting Team

BlueChip Underwriting Services LLC is delighted to announce the expansion of its Transactional Risk underwriting team with the addition of Christopher (Chris) Opisso as a Vice President effective Monday, November 13.

Chris is an accomplished attorney with private practice experience most recently at Farrell Fritz, P.C. in Uniondale, New York and previously with the New York Office of Latham & Watkins LLP. He also spent six months on secondment with Global Infrastructure Partners, a private equity firm.

Chris’s practice areas have focused on mergers & acquisitions, loan agreements and venture capital financing. He has led all phases of transactions, including the drafting and negotiations of purchase agreements and various financing documents. During his time in private practice, Chris has represented many of the top-tier commercial banks, as well as some leading financial sponsors, in a variety of financing transactions.

Chris was previously a Latin teacher at the Delbarton School in Morristown, New Jersey. He graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Classics. Chris later graduated from St. John’s University School of Law and served as Editor-in-Chief of the St. John’s Law Review. He is admitted to the bar in New York and New Jersey.
